Her ideas about the value and importance of bushcraft in the modern world and its connection with traditional and indigenous knowledges; historically, culturally, practically and philosophically, combined with her own personal stories and experiences as a mother, bushcraft expert, researcher, and academic, has provided a rich vein from which she draws her written inspiration.
